The cookies and browser storage used on the Mars Creative website, what they do, how long they last and how to change your cookie settings.

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on marscreative.com.tr. For how we process personal data in general, see our privacy notice (its cookies section lists the same records). The Turkish version of this policy is Çerez Politikası.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that the websites you visit place on your device (computer, tablet or phone). Some features use the browser’s local storage (localStorage) for the same purpose; this policy covers both.
2. Types of cookies we use
The essential cookie is needed to remember the choice you make. Analytics and marketing cookies are used only with your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the EU GDPR and the UK GDPR), which you give or refuse in the cookie banner; until you agree, they are not set.
2.1 Essential cookies
These are needed for the website to work and to remember the decision you have made. The only record of this type on our website is the mc-consent cookie, which stores your cookie choice.
2.2 Analytics cookies
These help us understand, as statistics, how visitors use the website (Google Analytics). They do not contain your name or contact details; they work with a random identifier assigned to your browser. These cookies are set only if you give consent. Before you choose, Google’s tag loads with consent set to “denied”: it sets no cookies and may send cookieless signals (such as the page and time) used for aggregate measurement.
2.3 Functionality records
These are kept in your browser to continue a feature you have started: when you write to the website assistant, your chat session and your recent messages are stored on your device. If you do not use the assistant, these records are never created. During your visit, where you came from and the page you viewed before a form are also kept in the browser tab; this is deleted when you close the tab and reaches us only if you send a form, together with your enquiry.
2.4 Marketing cookies
These are used to measure the results of our ads and to show ads on Google’s advertising network to people who have visited our website before (remarketing). These cookies are set only if you give consent; in that case, Google’s advertising domains (such as doubleclick.net) may also use their own cookies. If you have given consent and arrived by clicking a Google ad, we keep the ad click ID for 90 days; if you later send a form, it is used to measure which ad your enquiry came from.

Visit numbers are also measured with the analytics tool of our hosting provider, Vercel. This tool does not use cookies or browser storage.
3. Third-party cookies
Third-party services such as Google set cookies only when you consent to the relevant category (see the Google tag note above). Records that these services keep on their own domains are subject to the policy of the service concerned.
4. Managing your cookie settings
- Settings panel on the website: use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of our pages to see, change or withdraw your current choice.
- Withdrawing consent: when you withdraw consent for a category, its tools no longer
run and the related cookies on our domain (such as
_gaand_gcl_au) are deleted from your device. - Browser settings: if you delete cookies in your browser, your choice is deleted too. The cookie banner appears again on your next visit, and analytics and marketing cookies do not run until you choose again.
- Assistant history: the bin button in the top corner of the chat window immediately deletes the chat history and session ID on your device. This deletes only the copy on your device: the messages you write to the assistant are processed on our servers and by our AI service provider to generate replies, and are stored for service quality (our privacy notice explains for how long). You can ask for these records to be deleted by writing to info@marscreative.com.tr.
5. Retention periods
The duration of each record is shown in the table above. When it expires, the record is no longer read and is deleted; when your choice record expires, the cookie banner appears again.
6. Changes
We update this cookie policy when needed. The current version is always published on this page. For significant changes, the date at the top of the page is updated.
