An iOS and Android app, subscription set-up and website for Mars Flow

Mars Flow is the work-tracking app we built for business professionals: meetings, tasks, contacts and client follow-ups in one place. From product design to a single Flutter codebase, from the subscription set-up to release in both app stores and the website on Mars CMS, all of the work is ours.

CASE NOTE

Index 23 / 36

Mars Flow is a work-tracking app that brings meetings, tasks, contacts, companies and client follow-ups together in one place. It was designed for managers, consultants, sales teams and small business owners, and is live on the App Store and Google Play.

We built the app as our own product: product design, the iOS and Android app in Flutter, accounts and subscriptions, the release process in both stores and the website are all the same team’s work. We follow the same path for our clients’ mobile apps.

APPROACH

Built step by step.

Mars Flow is our own product, and also the whole path we follow when we build mobile apps for clients. The goal was clear: never forget who to get back to after a meeting, and when, without the weight of a classic CRM. The work progressed under five headings.

  1. PHASE 01

    The step after the meeting

Follow-ups sit at the heart of the app: a promise made in a meeting is linked to a person and a company and you are reminded when it is due. The Today screen shows the day’s meetings, tasks and pending follow-ups together; a decision in the meeting notes turns into a task with one tap. Contacts are imported from the phone, and each contact’s and company’s meeting and follow-up history sits on its own page.

  2. PHASE 02

    One codebase, accounts and subscriptions

The app is written in Flutter as a single codebase; iOS and Android share the same screens and behaviour. The code is layered by feature: screens, data layer and services are separate, and every interface string lives in translation files. Accounts and data are kept in Supabase; users see their own records on every device they sign in to. Subscriptions run on the App Store and Google Play in-app purchase systems through RevenueCat, which manages both stores in one place: Mars Flow Pro, monthly and yearly, with a 14-day free trial. Reminders arrive as notifications scheduled on the device.

  3. PHASE 03

Release in two stores, and a release routine

The store pages are in Turkish and English. The seven Google Play screenshots in each language were produced with a demo mode that reads no real account data. Every new version is first uploaded to TestFlight and to Google Play’s internal testing track, then submitted for review; release notes are written in both languages. On Google Play the developer name is Mars Creative.

  4. PHASE 04

    Privacy and account deletion

The App Store privacy label shows no tracking. Users can delete their account inside the app or from a page on marsflow.app; deletion removes the account’s workspace and every record in it. The privacy policy and terms of use are published in Turkish and English.

  5. PHASE 05

    The website on Mars CMS

marsflow.app runs on Mars CMS, the platform behind our client sites: Turkish and English pages, both store buttons, legal texts and the account deletion page are all updated from the same panel.
