Matbaaev is an advertising agency and print shop based in Beylikdüzü, Istanbul. Its roots go back to a family business founded in 1942, and since 2003 it has handled design and printing under one roof. Its product range runs from business cards and brochures to promotional items, and from restaurant packaging to business forms.
A print customer buys differently from a typical online shopper: the price depends on quantity, paper and printing method, so the product goes to a quote rather than a cart. The customer wants to see the product, read its print specifications and send the request by the shortest route.
We built the site on WordPress and WooCommerce. It presents 213 products under four main headings, describes each one with its print details and takes the request to the quote form or WhatsApp. The home page closes with a references section showing the logos of organisations the brand works with.
APPROACH
Built step by step.
A print shop's customer usually knows what they want: business cards, brochures, paper bags, printed pens. But because the price depends on quantity, paper and printing method, they do not add the product to a cart; they ask for a quote. The site's job is to let them find the product in a few clicks, show its print specifications and take the request to the quote form or WhatsApp by the shortest route. The work progressed under five headings.
-
PHASE 01
213 products under four headings
The catalogue is grouped under four main headings. Corporate covers business cards, letterheads, envelopes, catalogues, notepads, stickers and flags, along with business forms such as weighbridge slips and journal ledgers. Printing covers brochures and flyers, Ramadan calendars, restaurant and café products, and indoor and outdoor advertising; Promotional covers pens, diaries, calendars, mugs, power banks, USB drives, flasks and textiles; Packaging covers cardboard boxes, cups and bowls, service products, paper bags and doypack pouches. The top menu opens these headings down to their subcategories, and the home page starts with cards that lead visitors to the product groups.
-
PHASE 02
Print details on the product page
The product page answers the questions a print customer asks before ordering. The 250 gr. Business Card page lists the size (8.4 × 5.2 cm), paper (250 gr bristol board), single-sided colour print, gloss lamination, straight cut, a minimum of 1,000 pieces and a production time of 4–5 working days. Of the catalogue's 213 products, 142 state a minimum order quantity and 65 a production time; 111 products are shown with more than one photo.
-
PHASE 03
Quotes instead of prices, WhatsApp instead of a cart
Because print prices depend on quantity, paper and printing method, the catalogue has no prices. Every product page has 'Request a Quote' and 'WhatsApp Order' buttons side by side. Besides name, email and phone, the quote form asks a single question: which products, and how many. The top bar carries the WhatsApp support line and a quote button, and phone and WhatsApp buttons stay fixed in the corner of every page.
-
PHASE 04
Sector products, from restaurants to Ramadan
The catalogue goes beyond corporate print. For food and drink businesses it brings together burger, fries, wrap, baklava and simit boxes, double-wall paper cups, soup and ice-cream bowls, wet wipes, sugar sticks, napkins and placemats. It also includes 12 Ramadan calendar designs and business forms for accounting and shipping, such as delivery notes, weighbridge slips and journal ledgers.
-
PHASE 05
Pages that are found in search
The blog has 40 articles on the questions customers ask before printing: the difference between offset and digital printing, business card sizes, how long business cards take, catalogue and brochure design. In 2026 dedicated pages were added for local and urgent print searches: Beylikdüzü printing, business card printing in Istanbul, same-day business cards and brochure printing. The home page scores 100 in Lighthouse's SEO audit.
