Ehliyet Evi runs courses in Meram, Konya. It offers courses for the operator certificates of 44 construction machines such as forklifts, excavators, cranes and graders, and under the same roof it also provides lorry, articulated lorry and bus licences, SRC and psychotechnical assessments, and car and motorcycle licences. Trainees also come from other provinces for the construction machinery courses.
The questions on a trainee’s mind are clear: which certificate a given machine requires, how many hours the course takes, what happens in the exam, what must be written on the licence to drive on public roads and how much is paid to the state. The answers exist in the legislation, but they are scattered and written in technical language.
We rebuilt the site on Mars Creative’s content platform, Mars CMS. The site explains each certificate on its own page, gives course hours, exam items, G codes and official fees with their sources, and takes the quote request by the shortest route.
APPROACH
Built step by step.
Two different audiences come to Ehliyet Evi. Across Türkiye there are about 50,000 searches a month for construction machinery licences, while only around 200 include the name Konya; this visitor first wants to know which certificate does what, how many hours the course takes and what the exam asks. Someone getting a car licence, on the other hand, is looking for a course in Konya. The site’s job is to bring both audiences to the right page, answer their questions with the official source and take the quote request by the shortest route. The work progressed under five headings.

PHASE 01
Doors by audience and a certificate finder
The home page opens with a single question: what do you want to become? Future construction machinery operators, professional drivers and licence holders each enter through their own door; the button for companies looking for certificates for their staff stays in yellow in the header on every page. The certificate finder on the first screen also recognises everyday names such as forklift, digger or lorry, and suggests the right certificate as the visitor types. The hero image rotates between a forklift, an excavator and a car; the transition stops for visitors who prefer reduced motion. The site runs on the Mars CMS platform; pages are prepared before publishing and reach the visitor as ready-made files.

PHASE 02
44 machines, each on its own page
From forklifts to tower cranes and from graders to combine harvesters, each of the 44 operator certificates has its own page, grouped under seven headings: lifting and stacking, excavation and loading, road and asphalt, concrete, municipal vehicles, agriculture, and ports and airports. A machine plate at the top of the page shows at a glance the name of the Ministry of Education (MEB) curriculum, the total, theory and practical course hours, the structure of the practical exam and the G-class code that goes on the licence. Next come the course steps, the jobs the certificate qualifies for, the exam items, FAQs and related certificates. The exam items are taken word for word from MEB's official assessment forms. The page ends with a quote form with that certificate already selected.

PHASE 03
Course hours and G codes, with their sources
What people who will operate machinery confuse most is the difference between an operator certificate and a G-class driving licence. The G-class licence page explains it with a representative licence card: every 105 code next to the G class stands for one machine, and the driver may operate only the machines whose codes are written on the licence. The code list on the page is searchable. Course hours come from the 2023 curriculum list of MEB's Construction Machinery Directive, and G codes from the code table of the General Directorate of Population and Citizenship Affairs; no code was written for a machine whose name does not match the source exactly. The digger licence page uses the same approach to tell the backhoe loader, loader and excavator certificates apart.
G CLASS 35 certificates with a G-class code (105.xx) 7 machine groups, with course hours -
PHASE 04
Official fees in the open, course fees by quote
The fee pages list what is paid to the state: the MEB exam fee, the e-exam fee, the driving licence duty, the card fee and the foundation contribution. Under each table is the official letter or communiqué it is based on. Because the course fee itself depends on the machine and the curriculum, it leads to the quote form. The amounts come from a single data file on the site; when the new year’s amounts are entered, the construction machinery and driving course fee pages are updated together.

PHASE 05
A line for companies and the quote flow
The For Companies page speaks to employers who want to plan their operators' and drivers' certificates together: who needs which certificate and which one is up for renewal; the list is drawn up together, and the course and exam schedule is set so that work is not disrupted. The quote form saves each request in Mars CMS and has a KVKK (Turkish data protection) consent box. On desktop a WhatsApp, phone and quote capsule sits at the bottom right, and on phones a bottom tab bar stays on every page; the search in the header opens with Ctrl/⌘+K. 48 previous addresses were linked to their new pages with permanent redirects. Google Analytics 4 and Search Console are connected; cookie consent works with Google's Consent Mode v2.
