CASE NOTE

Index 21 / 36

Rehber Amsterdam is the private tour brand of Oğuz Kavak, a professional Turkish-speaking guide: routes that start in Amsterdam and reach Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, France and Switzerland, with a private vehicle and guiding in Turkish.

We built the site on WordPress in August 2025 and have grown it with monthly SEO work ever since. Search Console clicks were 64 in September 2025 and 931 in September 2026. In the last 30 days the site received 1,313 clicks, 548 of them from the Christmas and Alsace package published on 23 September.

The AI assistant Selin is on every page of the site. It answers questions in Turkish from a knowledge base built from the site’s posts and pages; in the last 90 days it held 63 conversations with visitors, and in 20 of them the visitor shared a phone number or email address.

APPROACH

Built step by step.

Rehber Amsterdam's guest is a traveller who wants to see Europe with a Turkish-speaking guide. The journey often starts with a question: when do the Christmas markets open, what should I buy in the Netherlands? The site's job is to answer that question, lead the guest to the right tour and introduce the guide. The work moved along four lines.

  1. PHASE 01

    Tour pages, country by country

Tours open through three doors: private tours, sample tours (Benelux, Amsterdam–Bruges, Delft–Rotterdam, Efteling) and city tours grouped by country. The Amsterdam tour page opens with an at-a-glance summary, then sets out the 2-night/3-day and 3-night/4-day programmes day by day, the services included and not included, prices, the best season, visa preparation and frequently asked questions on one page. The Benelux tour is described as six days with a private vehicle and a Turkish-speaking guide. Oğuz Kavak's own page introduces the guide to guests.

TOURS 32 tour and city pages 6 countries: the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, France, Switzerland
  2. PHASE 02

    Content built around search intent

Travellers searching for Europe in Turkish start with a question, and the blog's 60 posts answer those questions. The Christmas posts are told first-hand, from the guide's own experience. The post 'When do the Christmas markets open?' gives the short answer in its first paragraph, then goes into detail with a country-by-country table; frequently asked questions in the Christmas posts are marked up with structured data. On 23 September 2026 a 19-post package went live for the Christmas season: Christmas market dates country by country, Alsace villages and a Roermond outlet guide, alongside an Alsace Christmas tour page.

  3. PHASE 03

Selin: an assistant that knows the site

Every page has a 'Got a question? Selin is here' button in the bottom-right corner. Selin is the AI assistant Mars Creative developed for WordPress: it answers questions in Turkish from a knowledge base built from the site's 60 posts and 38 pages. When a visitor asks about prices or a quote, a short form opens inside the chat, and conversations collect in the inbox on Rehber Amsterdam's admin panel. In the last 90 days, visitors shared a phone number or email address in 20 of 63 conversations, and the in-chat form was filled in 12 of them. 13 conversations started on a blog post: visitors who arrive through content ask their question right there.

SELIN · LAST 90 DAYS 63 conversations 9.3 messages per conversation on average 20 conversations with a phone number or email 98 posts and pages in the knowledge base
  4. PHASE 04

    A short path to booking

On desktop, the orange Booking button in the top menu is on every page. The booking form takes name, email, phone, tour date and message on one screen, with phone, email and address cards below it. On desktop and mobile, phone, WhatsApp and Selin buttons stay fixed in the bottom-right corner, so guests can reach the guide in one tap from any page.

    Measurement and content, every month

Monthly work starts with Search Console data: which searches are rising, which pages are waiting at the edge of the first page. The content plan follows from that. Average position over the last 30 days: 6.1; for “amsterdam rehber” (Amsterdam guide): 4.0.

  • AI ASSISTANT

Selin knows the new posts too

Selin’s knowledge base holds all 60 of the site’s posts and 38 of its pages, including September’s Christmas package. Conversations are measured every month: 16 in August, 24 in September, 15 in the first 20 days of October.

  • AI SEARCH

    A site open to AI

A summary of the site for AI crawlers (llms.txt) is live. Frequently asked questions in the Christmas posts are marked up with structured data; the question-and-answer format gives both Google and AI assistants a structure they can read.
